2005 saw the inception of Maazi in the town of Matlock which now extends to Hathersage in Derbyshire and Hanoi in Vietnam. Entrepreneur Irfan Shabir brings the rich culinary art of India on the table, in a histrionic ambience that patently carves the cultural heritage of its origin.

Maazi is not just a name, it is a brand well-known for its first-rate, fresh and authentic Indian cuisines. Bright and glittery, the place welcomes you with warm smiles, sparkly lights and fresh rose petals sprinkled over the tablecloths. Take an island table for two or enjoy the long family-fits, everything comes with its distinct charm and a picturesque scenery of peak district.

The menu isn’t an Argos catalogue, and yet melds everything your heart desires for. From light and crispy pickled poppadoms to heavy main course meals spanning a range of dishes, including vegetarian, all is served next to tiny glasses of spiced rose water.

The highlight of your evening however, will always be the most loved traditional Indian sweets; you just can’t stop at one!

Maazi, as the name suggests, is here to leave an enduring impression.
